What do you love about The Century?

The Century's contemporary industrial space serves as a blank canvas for any vision. While it allows every event to be different, every event here is infused with an energy of celebration, momentous occasions, and positive vibes.

What's your favorite type of event and why?

Weddings are my favorite! I love love and celebrating the love of others.

What song gets you on the dance floor?

After a few cocktails, it's definitely "Lil Boo Thang" by Paul Russell.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy walking my two mini dachshunds around Grandview, boating/camping, exploring the outdoors and local metro parks, and shaking hands and kissing babies.

What do you love about The Century?

I love that it is locally and women owned! The space itself is so special and unique, with a charm and character that creates the perfect backdrop for unforgettable events. 

What’s your favorite type of event and why?

It’s hard to choose, but I’m especially drawn to community-driven events—whether it’s a fundraiser, wellness event, or a local market, I love being part of experiences that bring people together with intention, connection, and purpose. These events often blend creativity, shared values, and a strong sense of community, which makes them incredibly meaningful and uplifting. It is so special to get to be a part of events that bring people together for a greater purpose or shared experience. 

What song gets you on the dance floor?

Any throwback country song or throwback 90s rock! 

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love spending time with my husband and our two fur babies. I love to hike, camp, canoe, anything that involves exploring and the outdoors (and national parks)! I love pilates, supporting and volunteering at local animal shelters, and I am also an avid concert goer!

What do you love about The Century?

I absolutely love that The Century is a locally owned and operated business, with a team that lives right here in the Merion Village area. It's a small but mighty group of dedicated and passionate individuals who truly pour their hearts into making this space both accessible and inclusive. What I also adore is how versatile the space is—it can be transformed to fit so many different vibes and aesthetics, depending on the event or vision. I’m so grateful to be a part of such an amazing place.

What's your favorite type of event and why?

Local markets and workshops are hands down my favorite type of event. I love the opportunity to meet new people, build connections, and form new friendships.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love attending yoga classes and am currently working through my 200-hour yoga teacher training. When I'm not on the mat, you'll often find me out on the water, stand-up paddleboarding. I also have a deep love for reading and typically juggle two audiobooks and a paperback all at once.

So many things to love but my favorite is that the space is a blank canvas and you can be so creative with it! I also love the community that has been built within it.

What's your favorite type of event and why?

Any type of wellness event! They're so empowering.

What song gets you on the dance floor?

Work It by Missy Elliot.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Yoga, biking, climbing and above all else: thrifting.

What do you love about The Century?

Our venue was built more than a century ago (how neat is that!) so the inside is original and so charming. I also love the team — everyone works so hard to fulfill  your special day.

What’s your favorite type of event and why?

Weddings! From heartfelt vows to joyful speeches, weddings are filled with so many emotional moments and it’s a privilege to help make the day unforgettable for our clients and their guests.

What song gets you on the dance floor?

Anything hip-hop — particularly line dance songs that create a vibrant atmosphere and encourage everybody to join in. 

What do you like to do outside of work?

I have a passion for thrifting and collecting timeless items, as well as Harley Davidson collectibles. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and especially my two cat children Oakley Lynn and Ozzy Lou.
