3 of the most unique wedding venues in Columbus, Ohio

Columbus, Ohio is full of unexpected (and unforgettable) wedding venues for couples looking to break free from the traditional banquet hall. Here's a look at three of the most unique wedding venues that Columbus has to offer — and why we think they’re so special.

The Century

Starting out with The Century (of course), our space offers 4,000 sqft. overflowing with light, exposed brick and towering ceilings. Just minutes from downtown, our non-traditional venue is ready for your unique vision and close to many restaurants, bars and hotels. What makes our venue unique: Simply put, The Century is a blank canvas ready to reflect your personal style. Since opening in 2023, we’ve had the privilege of witnessing how each couple makes the space their own. Read more about that here.

Rural Society

Next up is The Rural Society. While it is a bit outside of the city, it’s worth the drive for the variety of photo opportunities, gardens and rustic charm. What makes this venue unique: There is a peacock, (yes you read that right) and lots of other farm animals roaming around. Additionally, couples have access to two getting ready spaces on the property. Similar to the Century, it can accommodate groups of all sizes — whether that’s 20 people or 200.

Strongwater

Another stunning wedding venue is Strongwater, located in Franklinton. Much like The Century, this venue is versatile with multiple spaces in one venue, and the industrial feel we know and love. What makes this venue unique: they offer in-house catering and are close to many hotels and restaurants. With nearly 4,000 square feet, this space offers a seated capacity of 200 guests.

The Century is a wedding and event venue right here in the heart of Columbus with space to host up to 240 seated guests. Schedule a tour today to see the magic for yourself.
